Glimepiride
• An antidiabetic with least risk of hypoglycemia
• Decreases HbA1c by 1.2-1.9% in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus, which is not sufficiency controlled by diet and exercise.
Pioglitazone
• Highly appreciable in diabetic patients with CKD (Chronic Kidney disease).
• Decreases blood glucose levels up to 95 mg/dl and glycosylated haemoglobin up to 2.6%.
